Aspire Educational Complex is a co-educational school located in the serene environment of Okorase, Koforidua. Established in 2017, we provide holistic education from the early years through Junior High School, creating opportunities for learners to discover their talents, develop their abilities, and prepare confidently for the future.
At Aspire, we believe education should develop the whole child. Through quality teaching, technology, creative activities, strong values, and a nurturing school community, we help every learner discover their potential and shape their aspirations.
- WHO WE ARE
An Education Built Around the Whole Child
Aspire Educational Complex was founded with a desire to provide children and families in Koforidua and its surrounding communities with an enriching educational experience. The school was conceived by Mr. and Mrs. Asare Nomafo and officially opened in the 2017 academic year. Their vision was to build a school that would provide outstanding educational services while nurturing the potential of every child.
Today, Aspire provides education from Crèche and Nursery through Kindergarten, Basic School and Junior High School, combining the Ghanaian curriculum with innovative approaches to teaching and learning. The school intentionally integrates technology into education, including initiatives such as UCMAS and Robotics, while also providing opportunities for learners to develop through music, arts, sports and other co-curricular activities.
Our goal is not simply to prepare learners for examinations. We seek to develop confident, responsible and capable young people who can think critically, solve problems, work with others and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the wider world.

- Our Journey
From a Dream to a Growing Educational Community
The idea for Aspire Educational Complex began with a simple but powerful desire: to give children an educational experience that would help them thrive.
Mr. and Mrs. Asare Nomafo conceived the school after reflecting on their own children's educational experiences and identifying an opportunity to provide an even stronger educational environment for children in Koforidua and its environs. Aspire officially opened its doors in the 2017 academic year.
Since its establishment, the school has continued to expand its infrastructure and educational capacity. Its development has included an administration block, computer laboratory, dormitory block, preschool block, music laboratory and a three-storey block serving Basic 1–6, alongside continued development of facilities for the growing school community.

At Aspire, we combine quality classroom instruction with experiences that help learners apply what they learn.
Our Basic School provides engaging instruction and assessment aligned with Ghana's National Curriculum Standards, supported by continuous monitoring, professional development and measurable approaches to tracking learner progress.
Technology is also intentionally integrated into teaching and learning. Programmes such as UCMAS and Robotics provide additional opportunities for learners to develop critical thinking and engage with new areas of learning. For our youngest learners, the Early Grade Department provides a clean, organized and thoughtfully prepared environment, with trained educators using a blend of Montessori and Cooperative learning approaches.

Our co-curricular activities complement academic learning by helping learners develop leadership, creativity, communication and social skills.
