Entry Requirements
Helping Every Learner Start at the Right Level
Aspire Educational Complex welcomes applications from learners who are ready to participate in our educational programmes and abide by the school’s rules, regulations and code of conduct.
Our admissions process considers each applicant’s readiness to benefit from the curriculum, previous school records where applicable, diagnostic assessment results and the availability of appropriate support.
Who Can Apply?
Aspire Educational Complex is a co-educational, non-denominational school that welcomes applications from Ghanaian and international learners, irrespective of race, religion or ethnicity, subject to the school’s admission policy.
The school offers education from the starter class and Crèche through Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary and Junior High School.
Age Groups and Entry Levels
Our preschool department includes the following age groups:
Crèche/Starter
Nursery
Kindergarten
The school also offers Basic 1–6 and Junior High School. Placement at these levels depends on the learner’s previous educational experience, assessment where applicable, and the school’s admission decision.
Parents should contact the school to confirm the appropriate class and the availability of a place.
Academic Assessment
Applicants entering classes other than the starter class, Crèche and Nursery 1 are required to take a diagnostic entrance assessment.
The assessment helps the school evaluate the learner’s current academic level and determine suitable placement.
The school’s published policy specifies a basic cut-off point of 65%. Applicants who do not meet this threshold may be considered for placement in the class they previously attended.
Previous School Records
Previous school records are required before an admission decision can be made for learners who have attended school previously.
If your child is entering school for the first time, please inform the admissions team so that the appropriate procedure can be explained.
Contact the school to confirm which records and supporting documents should accompany your application.
Readiness for School Life
Applicants and their families should be prepared to support the school’s operating rules, code of conduct, learning expectations and community values.
Aspire promotes integrity, excellence, creativity, hard work, respect, fairness and collaboration.
The school considers whether it can appropriately support an applicant’s educational, physical, social and other identified needs. Admission for learners who require additional physical support depends on the availability of suitable equipment and support arrangements.
Final Placement
The school makes the final decision on admission and class placement, taking into account assessment results, previous records, programme suitability, available places and the school’s policies.
Admission into final grades is generally discouraged, except in special circumstances.
